Irene V. Glaeser
Chief Executive Officer
Irene Glaeser assumed the role of CEO, Spahr LLC, in 2022. Prior to this she served in leadership roles of increasing responsibility in the U.S. Army and federal government in a career that spanned decades. Irene’s career as a military police officer ended in the Pentagon where she served in the Department of the Army Inspector General Office in the Senior Official Investigations Division. Post military, Irene entered federal service in the senior ranks of the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General Office. She then transitioned to the U.S. AbilityOne Commission, first as Program Management Office Director, and then as Acting Deputy Executive Director (SES) until retiring again and joining the ranks of service-disabled veteran owned small business CEOs.
Irene currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Veteran Small Business Coalition and the Cape Fear Resilience Project. These organizations serve to advance veteran and service-disabled veteran entrepreneurs to succeed, and to provide mental health resources for local veterans, respectively. Irene holds a Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Webster University and a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies from the Resident U.S. Army War College. She also holds a Certificate in National Security for Senior Managers from the George Washington Elliot School for Foreign Service.
Al Glaeser
President
Al Glaeser is a seasoned executive and U.S. veteran. After service he held progressive executive leadership positions in several blue-chip Fortune 500 companies, to include Mobil Oil Corporation, Intel Corporation, and Microsoft Corporation. He has led large organizations in the federal IT market as a Vice President and Division Manager at CACI and as a President and General Manager of an Alaska Native subsidiary. Al holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management from the Gore School of Business at Westminster College. He is a Certified Scrum Master, Project Management Professional, Stanford Certified Project Manager, and ISO 9001:2015 Certified Internal Auditor.
